What:

I’m selling my books of poetry, Twilight to Son Shine & Life Changes. I also have nice 8 x 11 photos, ready for framing.

Standing with me is Imani Briscoe, who’s second in charge of this shindig. Of course you can see my buddy, Matt, behind the table. He’s very important, because he takes all the money coming my way.

I have a dilemma. As I was going through some old photos, I was wondering which photo flatters me the best. Oh by the way, this has nothing to do with poetry. ☺

I had three different hair styles in 2017. First was long hair, that one was most of the time that I lived on my houseboat. That’s also where and when I started writing poetry.

Then, I cut it all off in April, and went bald till fall. Long hair and bald cost zero dollars every month to care for, and that worked well since I’m poor.

The next cut was done by a hair stylist, Tiffany, at Sport Clips in La Plata.

I really like the look of the last one, but since I’m so poor I can hardly pay attention, I feel either bald or long is coming back soon. ☺

Have I ever told you, that I write poetry? Pretty good poetry too, and it’s made in the USA. Actually, I am one of the best modern day poets that I know. 😊

I write about family, relationships, drink, drug, failed relationships, depression, recovery and God, another words, I write about my life.
