Weight Gain
I gained two more pounds this morning, that makes nineteen pounds in 2018. Not only does it add to the difficulty of putting my socks on, tying my shoes and buckling my belt so my pants don’t fall down, it’s embarrassing to walk around with a profile like this. If you’re overweight like me, you probably already know the medical complications it can cause the body: heart disease, stroke, diabetes, high blood pressure and joint issues, just to name a few.
I always think about dieting and exercise, but normally that’s as far as it goes. When I saw the extra two pounds this morning on the scale, I immediately made a decision to go back on the Atkin’s Diets. There are other healthier diets and of course I can simply eat better, but if I had the ability eat better, I would have already done it.
As I diet, starting Saturday May 12, I will ask and encourage those of you that are interested, to join me. As we do this together, we can hold each other accountable by private messaging or phone.
