This Saturday, 3-12-22, from 10am to 2pm is my first craft fair of the 2022 season and it will be at the St. Mary’s County Fair Grounds. I have two new books, so I will be selling and signing my three books of poetry and a book of short stories – plus hats, shirts, and coffee mugs with my information on them.
I have set up at this venue before, however, not at this particular event. It is an indoor event, but the weather is supposed to be bad, so I don’t know if it will happen.
My latest quote is “Write it in pencil, because life changes”
The photo below is of me on the left and my brother George Brian McDonald on the right. It was taken in Camp Busac, France, probably in 1956.
Don’t get worried. I’m not sick, well not more than a normal 67 year old should be, and as far as I know I’m not dying anytime soon. With my first COVID-19 check, I bought a burial plot and a matching headstone next to my brother George. I’ve wanted to do that ever since he was buried in 1986.
Hi guys. I didn’t get lost, I just took a little hiatus from the pleasure of writing to complete my Arts and Sciences Degree at the College of Southern Maryland (CSM). I graduated that AA degree this spring (2021) and will pick up my diploma this summer. Now I am moving on to the University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) toward a Bachelors’ Degree in English. I’m at the limit of transferable credits and will reverse transfer three English courses back to CSM and will graduate with my second AA Degree in January of 2022 – this one will be in English.
I have a lot of hat stories to incorporate in my ‘How ya like my hat?’ category and a good number of ‘Your three words, my little story’ stories will be coming up also. Please comment on them if you feel so inclined. Now back to writing!
The preceeding photos are from my latest craft/vendor sale at Coastal Arts Market (CAM) in Leonardtown, MD on May 15, 2021. The following photo is at CSM where spent a lot of time and finally will have something to hang on the wall.
This is my first time at this event, but it seems to be a lively group of venders, with some beautiful scenery. I will be selling my two books poetry about my life and some photography.
This is a recurring event at 22500 Washington St. Leonard, MD 20650 from 9 am to 3 pm on 4/20, 5/18, 6/15, 7/20, 8/17, 9/28 and 10/12.
