Poetry by Jim: I cut my hair

The new do
was long and thin
with a bald spot
showed some skin
where hair was not
years of growing
with just one cut
wavy and flowing
added some strut
no money it cost
to let it grow
friends I lost
they didn’t know
people were rude
said cut your hair
they were skewed
I really don’t care
greyish and white
not red anymore
it shined in the light
as it fell to the floor
when it was long
forever to clean
now that it’s gone
shiny and sheen
Love your hair! And what a great poem. Completely made me smile, Jim. Thanks 🙂 ~Blessings, Debbie

It’s much easier to take care of now. I run the clippers over my head once a week, useing number one guage. It took a long time to rinse the shampoo and conditioner out of my hair.

Summer is coming, Jim. I bet it will be great then. I like long hair on men, but I have to say I think it looks really good on you.

A little chilly. 😀 However, I like running my hand over the stubs.
