Things that interest me: Posting

Things that interest me: posting

I realise, that I have been posting alot lately, so this a post telling you that. 😊

Actually I’ve been posting alot about several things that really interest me.

1- My book, Twilight to Son Shine
2- My websight,
3- Christmas in April

I hope I am not irritating any of you, but all of these are special to me.

Poetry by Jim: deadly drugs

deadly drugs

drugs I’ve done a few
no not just one or two
at times I had no clue
didn’t know what to do

would take steal or lie
just wanted to get high
other times I would cry
watching some friends die

but still I couldn’t stop
razor blade I used to chop
a piece of rock did I drop
to the floor from the top

comb and probed the floor
then I smoked some more
and peaked out the door
I was constantly at war

battled it seventeen years
truly not enough cheers
much pain caused my fears
new dawn began with tears

Happy Customers

Happy customers

Two more happy customers, he said, she said. Alvin tells me he bought three of my books from Amazon, but when I ran into his lovely wife, Commissioner Amanda Stewart, she said she bought them. Ummmm, a mystery, but this mystery doesn’t need to be solved, because my book ended up in more hands. Alvin also bought two from me personally and I watched as that twenty dollar bill come directly from his wallet.

Alvin Stewart

Alvin Stewart, my friend and comrade in a few areas: one is he operates the La Plata Starbuck’s, that I frequent almost on a daily basis. Two, he is the President of the Charles County Chapter of, ‘Christmas in April‘, which is transforming to, ‘Rebuilding Together‘ of Charles County.

Commissioner Amanda Stewart

Commissioner Amanda Stewart has championed many good deeds here in Charles County. One of the latest is the ‘Charles County Mobile Library Services‘, which brings the library to the ill-equipped patrons of the county. A much loved and needed outreach for the community.

Thank you guys for buying my book and further spreading it into the galaxy.

Happy customers

Happy customers

The pictures of my happy customers are piling up. I think I will present two or three at a time for a little while.

I’ve noticed, while I’m learning to be a writer, by default I’m also learning to be a salesman.

Matthew Jones Jr

My friend Matt is also a writer and he continues to push me to sell my book. We hang out at the La Plata Starbuck’s often.

Andrew Staples

I have never met Andrew in person, but we have become very good friends on-line. He’s a Christian, Redskin fan, The Walking Dead fan and seems to be an all around good guy.

I met Pam at my dermatologist’s (Mid Atlantic Skin) office in Waldorf, MD. I started talking to her about writing and next thing you know she buys my book.
Thank you guys for buying my book.
